Part 1

The first part of The Last Walk begins at Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives and continues through the Kidron Valley. From Gethsemane, The Walk continues along Derech Jericho Street, then turns right onto Derech HaShiloah Street towards the Kidron Valley path. Follow Derech HaShiloah Street untill you see Sloan School on your right, where this first part of The Last Walk ends.This section is easy and mostly flat.

                                Part 2

The next part of The Last Walk starts  at the corner of the Sloan School. On the right side are the stairs leading  to the exit from the City of David, then the route turns right and runs along City of David Street towards Old City Walls. At the top of City of David Street the route turns left and continues along Ma'ale HaShalom Street. On the right side you will see the entrance to the Zion Gate.Please note that this part of The Walk is of a high difficulty level. There are many stairs to climb on the way from Sloan School to the exit of the City of David, then the route goes up. If you feel that this section is not suitable for you, please skip this section and continue The Walk from the exit of the City of David or from the Zion gate.

                               Part 3

The Walk goes from The Zion Gate and continues along Habad Street, after which the route turns right and leads to Jewish Quarter Street. The route then turns right along Bab El -Silsilfh Road (Chain Gate St.) and then left to Haja'y Street (Al-Wad St. ). The Walk continues along Haja's Street (Al-Wad St.) and this part ends at the corner of Via Dolorosa Street. Please note the access from Chain Gate St. to Al-Wad St. is through the stairs one level down.

                               Part 4

The Walk continues along Haja'y Street to Damascus Gate, where after leaving the Old City the route turns right and continues along Sultan Sulayman Street. At the junction the path turns right onto Derekh Yerikho Road, where The Walk ends at the starting point in Gethsemane.
