The Last Walk

The Last Walk begins in Gethsemane, at the foot of the Mount of Olives. From there, The Last Walk continues along Derech Jericho Road before turning right towards the Kidron Valley. It then continues along Derech HaShiloah Street. This section of The Last Walk ends next to Sloan School.

From Sloan School, The Last Walk turns right and continues towards the stairs leading to the City of David exit. Please note that this section is of a high difficulty level, as it includes many flights of stairs. From the City of David exit, The Last Walk turns right onto City of David Street and continues towards the Old City Walls. It then turns left and continues along Ma’ale HaShalom Street before turning right. This section of The Last Walk finishes at the Zion Gate.

From the Zion Gate, The Last Walk turns right onto Al Batriarkeya Al Armaneya Street, then turns left and continues along Habad Street. The Last Walk then turns right onto Tiferet Yerushalayim Street and shortly afterwards turns left onto Jewish Quarter Street. It continues along Jewish Quarter Street until it reaches the corner of Chain Gate Street ( Bab El Silsileh Road), where this section of The Last Walk ends.

From Jewish Quarter Street, The Last Walk turns right onto Chain Gate Street (Bab El Silsileh Road) and continues along the road before turning left onto Al-Wad Street (Haja’y Street). Please note that Al-Wad Street is one level down and can be reached by taking the stairs. The Last Walk then continues along Al-Wad Street up to the corner of Via Dolorosa Street, where this section of The Last Walk ends.

From the corner of Via Dolorosa Street, The Last Walk continues along Al-Wad Street up to Damascus Gate, where The Last Walk turns right and continues along Sultan Sulayman Street. At the end of Sultan Sulayman Street, The Last Walk turns right and continues along Derech Yericho Road all the way to Gethsemane, where The Last Walk ends.

The Last Walk is the Journey for everyone. 

Some sections of the route are currently accessible for people with disabilities. However, other parts are not accessible and may include stairs or short flights of steps.
